Pincushion storage

You remember the jar from the feta cheese I showed you a few posts back?

Well, you know me and containers... I couldn't throw the cute little bugger out. So it became this...

After sewing the pincushion I had a bunch of little pieces of fabric left and still needed to fill up the jar with something cute. So I decided to make fabric beads. You don't need many materials to turn this....

into this....

I'm not going to go into a step-by-step. Google "fabric beads" and there are tons of directions out there. I added a bit of glittery glue over the top of them to give them a bit of shine. Here is the finished project in my craft room. Keep an eye out for cute little jars of your own!!
